The quilting ladies have been VERY helpful. Thank goodness I remembered how to sew a seam and use a pedal, but I cannot remember how to thread a needle or bobbin. This one's called a jelly roll quilt - all the middle strips were already cut. Fun!
The light and the water... a magical combination to excite the senses. I love to look at it, although I have a slight fear of swimming. I used to skip swimming lessons so I could take extra Art classes. x
Oh yes, when we attach our self worth to our career instead of who we are inside, it can be rough. Learning that our value comes from being a good, loving person — who happens to paint, who directs plays, who leads & encourages others, who runs races, who teaches, etc etc etc. is a game-changer in life — in my opinion. ❤️ & {{hugs}}
