And thank you for introducing me to a new breed...I looked up the Norwegian Forest Cat and was quite taken. Such a fine breed. Reminds me of the Maine Coon cats. And anything related to the Vikings gets an instant "in" with me.

I need to work on smells when I write. Your descriptions are perfect in that regard! Smells definitely evoke memories, but I can't REMEMBER smells when I'm writing about a memory. Weird. Sort of like not having cell phones or computers in dreams. Thank goodness!
